Sorry it's been so long again! My life just got really busy, and I haven't thought much about blogging lately. Last semester went well, and my grades turned out really good, so I'm happy. I'm more worried about this semester because I have harder classes and I'm taking 13 credit hours-so yeah I'm pretty busy. I also work maybe 20 or so hours a week and I teach relief society once a month, so my life's been pretty stressful lately. But I'm hanging in there... maybe by a thread, but I'm still hanging in there. :)
My car's still running great- good to know that it handles great in the snow and the heater works (I didn't know that when I bought it, so I'm happy). It's a great car, and I only have to spend money on gas literally maybe once every month and a half or so. I only really drive it to school and work, so I get good gas mileage.
My new schedule:
MWF: Creative Writing, Math 1050 (college algebra), Oceanography
TTH: Humanities through the Arts, Teachings of the Living Prophets (Institute class)
I like most classes this semester-unlike last semester, so I'm happy about that. The only one I don't like is math.
I've made some new friends too, so that's good. However, including a guy in my math class who recently admitted that he wants to be more than friends.... umm. But I just want to be friends. This is the third guy I've met in a year who professed/showed the same thing and I've turned down all three of them. Don't think I'm rude or anything-I'm just not ready for a boyfriend yet, and I don't think they're the "right" ones for me. I'm not going to be pressured into a relationship just to be nice-I need to feel right about it too.
However, it has given me some more confidence. Sometimes, I'm so afraid I'm too shy/insecure to meet any guys that might be attracted to me. And I met those guys without even trying...imagine how many more I will meet if I actually try.
Well, the weather's been horrible here, but it's finally getting warmer. It's been the most depressingly cold winter I can remember, so I'm glad it's starting to warm up. For all our sanity's sake, it's nice to get some sun and double digit weather (above 32 too). I'm soooo excited for summer.
One of my best friends went to the MTC (missionary training center) on Wednesday. It's hard to say good-bye, but I'm proud of her and excited for her. She'll be awesome.
A recent discovery: I'm warming up to country music now. I actually like a lot more than I used to, and I think it's pretty cool.
